Hi, I’m Luckas a creative from Hasselt, Belgium. I’ve been passionate about art and design for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a product designer or architect, but in 2016 I discovered graphic design and I was instantly hooked.

What excites me most is the endless range of possibilities and media within graphic design. To me, it’s the visual translation of concepts: a way to communicate stories, emotions, and ideas through a language that’s universal and always evolving.

In every project, I aim to create design that stays true to the identity of the subject. My process is rooted in research, ensuring that concept comes before aesthetics. For me, a strong concept is always the foundation of strong design.

  • TODAY BRANDING AGENCY: A Belgian based branding agency where i spent 3 months in 2022 as a design intern. Most known for rebrands like : vrt nws, bpost, kdg and botanique. 

    NORVELL JEFFERSON: A creative communication agency based in Antwerp, Amsterdam and Boston. I spent 2 weeks here as a intern in 2019 at the antwerp location.

Resourceful

Working with smaller companies and clients has taught me how to create with small or even non-existent budgets. By finding creative solutions and managing expectations, I’ve learned that spending a bit more time at the drawing board and developing a clear plan can make a big difference.

Branding

For me, branding is the pinnacle of graphic design, where creative ideas and problem-solving skills come together. It represents the purest form of design, allowing me to draw on my knowledge of shape, composition, perception, psychology, and color.

Quick learner

Being an independent designer came with a lot of new challenges. New software, different clients with different needs and lots of things i had never done before. But i believe that if you know what you want and work for it nothing is impossible.

Renovating

I live in a small workers house from 1907 that I’m curently renovating. I’m learning along the way how to rebuild a house. And I’m having different levels of succes.

Hobby’s

In my free time I like going out to eat with my partner, Meeting up with friends for a coffee and playing mtg. I also enjoy the occasional padel session, mountain-biking and hockey.

Music

I cant play music, but I love music as an art-form. I spend a lot of time listening to albums and discovering new artist. This resulted in a LP collection where 2 of my passions collide. (graphic design and music)

I’m looking for a new challenge and a creative team/studio. A place/opportunity where i can fully use and develop my expertise.
